We are excited to be the first in Canada to offer a new style of exclusive living by adopting the Green House Project model. Green House Homes are small-scale, self-contained, and self-sufficient communities providing assisted living care for elders who are at the centre of every decision.
Traditional assisted living homes often feel institutional and can be isolating. Green House Homes are designed to reinforce the humanity and dignity of elders by eliminating those institutionalized elements. In short, if it doesn’t belong in a private home, it doesn’t belong in a Green House Home.
Green House Project communities don’t feel like home, they are home, with private bedrooms and bathrooms, warm communal areas, real kitchens and splendid outdoor spaces. There are no more than 12 residents in each home.

At Sanctuary each floor of our 7-storey building is a contained, thoughtfully designed small-house retirement community. Suites are limited to a maximum of 12 residents per community. Freshly renovated, premium luxury common spaces form the heart of each home, with a kitchen, dining room, activities room, TV room, library, lanai, outdoor patio, and laundry facilities exclusively available for residents in your home.
Sanctuary is a high-demand, exclusive Green House Model home that is redefining assisted living. We have a limited number of suites available. Each suite includes everything you need for comfort, security, and vibrant daily living. Offering four distinct sizes and layouts, in each premium-adorned suite you will find bright natural light, ample closet space, and a 3-piece ensuite washroom. At Sanctuary, we offer transparent, tiered pricing based on the size of the room (single room or suite).
Studios and 1-bedroom suites start at $5950/month.
Each Suite is unique, whether you prefer more closet space, or a bigger bathroom, we can meet your needs.

Exactly the opposite. At Sanctuary, you will in fact gain more freedom as you won’t be burdened with house maintenance, yard work, shoveling snow, housekeeping and cooking…unless you love to cook, then our kitchen is always open for your use. You’ll enjoy a variety of social activities, as well as the freedom to come and go as you please. At Sanctuary, you are empowered to focus on the things that matter most to you.
Absolutely. We always try to place friends together within the same home and keep couples together in an appropriate suite.
Yes. We encourage you to bring your favorite furniture, pictures, and other personal items. It’s your suite, your home, to decorate as you wish.
Unfortunately pets such as dogs, cats and birds, etc, are not allowed.
We offer a 24-hour nursing call bell to ensure any emergency help is only seconds away. Healthcare professionals are onsite 24 hours a day.
